These Terms of Service (“Terms”) define your rights and our rights in relation to the use of the services provided by Syro, Inc. (“Syro”, “we”, “us”, “the Company”) through the website at syro.com (the “Syro Website”).  The services provided by or through the Syro Website and applications and the Syro Command Line Interface (“CLI”) are collectively known in these Terms as the “Services”.

By accessing or using the Services or any part thereof, you, the user (“you”, “user”) agree to be bound by, and access the Services in accordance with, these Terms and all terms, guidelines and policies incorporated by reference in these Terms, including but not limited to our standard documentation for the Services currently available at https://syro.notion.site/Syro-CLI-Documentation-b0b09113be574081bf6f8852ad4bbf2e (“Syro Documentation”) and Syro’s Privacy Policy, available at [HYPERLINK] (collectively, the “Agreement”). If you do not agree to this Agreement, you may not use, access, or submit information to the Services. (collectively, the “Agreement”). If you do not agree to this Agreement, you may not use, access, or submit information to the Services.

  1. The Services

Syro is constantly modifying and improving the Services. We may introduce new products and features, change existing products and features, or discontinue products and features from the Services at any time. Currently we offer the following products:

Secrets Management: you can store, and manage your private information and configurations (“Secrets”).

Projects and Environments: You can create projects on Syro’s Secrets Manager to manage your Secrets. Each project holds a list of configurations that live in an environment and support user access control and versioning of changes.

Syro CLI: The Syro CLI provides a consistent experience when developing locally to production.****

We aim to offer you the best experience possible when you use the Services, but we cannot guarantee a perfectly pleasant or error-free user experience. You acknowledge and agree that Syro will have no obligation to provide you with any support or maintenance in connection with the Services except otherwise explicitly set forth.

  1. Creating an Account

If you sign up for an account on the Services, you agree to (a) provide accurate, current and complete information as may be prompted by account setup forms on the Services (“Registration Data”); (b) maintain the security of your password and account information; (c) maintain and promptly update your Registration Data, and any other information you provide to Syro, and keep it accurate, current and complete. You are responsible for keeping your information secret and for all activity on your Syro account, and for all charges related to your Syro account no matter if such activity or charges were done or incurred by you personally. Note that the Services are not intended for, and should not be used by, anyone under the age of thirteen (13). If you are under the age of thirteen (13) you should immediately cease using the Services.

You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorized use of or access to your account. You understand and agree that we may require you to provide information that may be used to confirm your identity and help ensure the security of your account.

3. Security and Data Privacy

Syro Security. Syro implements robust physical, technical and administrative security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, use, modification or disclosure. Despite the foregoing, no method of transmission over the Internet, and no means of electronic or physical storage, is entirely free of risk, and thus we cannot ensure or warrant the absolute security of your information. We aim to keep your data secure by using end-to-end encrypted communication channels, encrypting data at rest, and by ensuring our infrastructure doesn’t have direct access to your Secrets. We also prohibit our employees from accessing any sensitive customer data (such as environment variables, and user passwords) without explicit customer permission and regularly assess our policies and practices to improve our security readiness.

User Support. In the event a Syro support agent needs to access your workplace, you will need to give explicit permission over (a) your Syro Slack support channel or (b) the phone in order for us to proceed with looking at your workspace and proceed with debugging.

Privacy. We collect certain data and information about you in connection with your use of the Services and otherwise in connection with these Terms. We collect and use all such data and information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which you acknowledge. We are always striving to improve the Services. In order to do so, we use analytics techniques to better understand how our Services are being used. For more information on these techniques and the type of data collected, please read our Privacy Policy.

Subpoenas. Nothing in these Terms prevents us from disclosing your data to the extent required by law, subpoenas or court orders, but we will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you when permitted to do so. Syro strives to balance your privacy rights with other legal requirements.
